[00:00] In this lesson, we'll learn how to easily manage license keys with the EAM. To demonstrate this, I have two gateways open in my browser. This one we're currently looking at is my agent, and we can tell it doesn't have a license applied because the banner down below says it's in a trial mode. We could add a license from right here within the agent gateway, however in an enterprise setup this can be done from the controller, so we'll navigate there. Next, we'll click on the license keys page within our network tab, under enterprise. This shows us all the licenses being managed by the controller, and currently there are none. To add one to our agent, we can click on this button to add a hardware key. I'll demonstrate how to use this wizard, but the process would be similar if you wanted to add a lease license instead. I'll quickly type in mine, and if you want to add in multiple keys, you can do so by separating them with commas in this text box. Also, just for reference, you don't need to capitalize the license keys when entering them here. Once you're done, you can click on the add button down below.

[01:02] Now that I've added the license to the page, I have some options available to me. We can click on the more options button, and here we can delete the license to remove it from this page, create copies or overrides, and finally assign it to a gateway. I'll choose to assign here and select my agent gateway from this dropdown and to click on assign. Once the task completes, I'll switch to my agent gateway, and now the trial banner is gone, and if I go to the licensing page, I can confirm that the license has been successfully assigned. I'll go back to the controller gateway and back to the license keys page. Since it's been assigned, there's a new option to unactivate it from the current gateway. I'll click on unactivate, and then if I go back to my agent, we can see that the license is now removed. Note that the license needs to be unassigned in order to be deleted, so now that mine is no longer being used by my agent, I'm free to delete it. The activating and unactivating options we've seen in this video are identical to creating the task on the agent task page, but the license keys page provides a convenient location to quickly manage any licenses one might have.
